Leonie Bos

The drawings of this Amsterdam-based artist and illustrator have a far-reaching reach. Her pronounced colorful illustrations are regularly featured in major international newspapers and magazines: The New Yorker, The Guardian and Apple to the cover art for Wallpaper* and Elle Decoration. In the Netherlands, De Volkskrant and the VPRO Guide are frequent clients of her work.
Her painting style is stylized but rough. Figurative but abstracted. The representations are not obvious. That makes her work attractive. Fine art plays an increasingly important role in her work and her first exhibition with unique works is coming up.
She took part in the successful exhibition Vertekend Beeld and made a number of special editions for the gallery, which quickly sold out.
