Discover Anne Schillings work in her solo exhibition KODAMA at the Moving Gallery

The title refers to Anne Schillings’ residencies in Kyoto, Japan, a country that provides her inspiration. Anne studied at the ARTEZ academy in Arnhem (fashion) and at HKU in Utrecht (illustration). Ultimately, she has become a painter above all else. Her paintings are both exuberant and subdued. Exuberant because of the immense richness of colors and subdued because the paintings are a highly personal reflection of Anne in the overwhelming world around her. We will showcase both large and small works. Anne was previously featured in our exhibition “Uitzicht” at the end of 2023, together with Anna Reerds. The exhibition opens on Saturday, March 8, and runs until April 6.
